With over 25 years of experience, David Miskin has been at the forefront of shaping some of the world’s most recognizable brands, public figures, and Fortune 100 companies. Recognized as a visionary in creative marketing, brand consultancy, and luxury strategy, David is celebrated for his rare ability to reinvent industry norms and drive lasting impact. His innovative design work has garnered widespread acclaim, including recognition on Design: Retail’s “40 Under 40” list and numerous other industry accolades.
David has held several key executive roles, including CEO of Cultural Assets at Iris-Worldwide North America, a London-based global marketing agency renowned for its work with clients such as Netflix, Bentley, and IHG Hotels. He also served as CMO and CCO of The Lightstone Group, recognized for developing signature properties such as Moxy Hotels, AC Hotels, and EDITION. Additionally, he was Vice President of Creative & Brand Strategy at GGP/Brookfield Properties Retail, one of the world’s foremost shopping center developers, with iconic properties including Ala Moana Center, Christiana Mall and Natick Collection.
In 2017, David transitioned to full-time executive consulting, lending his expertise to a wide range of globally respected brands, including Automobili Lamborghini, Kraft Heinz, WeWork, Marriott, ABC Carpet & Home, NBC Universal, Samsung, and Starbucks.
In 2023, David joined Kasumigaseki Capital in Tokyo, Japan, as Chief Creative Officer of FHG—the firm’s hospitality division—where he leads the creative vision and brand development across a growing portfolio, including seven x seven, FAV, FAVlux, and Base Layer Hotel.
David is the creator of seven x seven, a brand that introduced the concept of self-hospitality—offering a bold new approach to personalized, independent luxury. In 2024, the brand debuted its first two properties in Ishigaki and Itoshima, Japan, setting a new benchmark in modern hospitality. With additional destinations currently in development—including Yufuin, Miyako-jima, and Ginza—seven x seven continues to expand its presence as a next-generation hospitality brand rooted in freedom, design, and guest empowerment.
In 2025, seven x seven was honored with the Top 10 Japan Luxury Award, reinforcing its position as a pioneer in next-generation travel. With six additional properties currently in development, David continues to oversee every facet of the brand—from conceptual design and strategic marketing to operational execution—devoting his full focus to these transformative initiatives.
