David is the creator of seven x seven, a hospitality brand built around the concept of self hospitality, a philosophy that places control, comfort, and personal rhythm back into the hands of the guest. Designed as an alternative to traditional luxury, seven x seven prioritizes freedom, individuality, and intuitive design. The brand debuted its flagship resorts in Ishigaki and Itoshima in 2024 and continues to expand with new destinations, including Yufuin, Miyakojima, and Ginza.

In 2025, edit x seven launched as the first sub brand within the seven x seven ecosystem, introducing a more urban, lifestyle driven expression of the self hospitality philosophy. The debut property opened in Gotemba, followed by additional locations as the platform continues to grow.

Seven x seven has received international recognition, including the Top 10 Japan Luxury Award, reinforcing its position as one of Japan’s emerging hospitality brands. David remains actively involved across every aspect of the business, from concept development and brand strategy to guest experience, design direction, marketing, and operational execution.

Beyond hospitality, David continues to contribute to projects that connect culture, community, and creativity. He served as host of the Tokyo Weekender 55th Anniversary celebration in partnership with the World Monuments Fund and supports broader cultural and lifestyle initiatives, including seven x seven Racing and the Sendai 89ERS basketball team.

Across every role, David’s work is guided by a consistent objective: creating brands, experiences, and businesses that are meaningful, commercially resilient, and built to endure.
